Love Christmas and enjoy walking around seeing all the light displays? Then Sleepy Hollow here in Torrance is for you. Though the name sounds like Halloween, it's totally Christmas appropriate. It's all totally free to view. I recommend coming here before sunset like around 5pm or when there's a little bit of daylight left. You'll find parking better and less crowds. You'll pretty much see much of the sights before the crowds move in. Park like a block away from the main attraction so this gives you room to leave later on or else there's a lot of foot traffic to watch for and other cars. Dress warm, after sunset it does cool down. If you're hungry certain residents have tables out selling snacks from popcorn to hot cocoa. Definitely worth checking out and making it an annual tradition of your own!

A family tradition for over 30 years. It will be gridlocked, so you might as well bundle up and walk it unless you don't mind being stuck for an hour or two. Pros--amazing lights to see Con--bumber to bumper

A super fun family activity during the holidays with several blocks of beautifully decorated homes. Definitely recommend parking outside of the neighborhood and walking in as cars moved at a snail's pace (at best) the entire time we were there. Bring cash too in case you'd like popcorn, snacks, hot cocoa, etc. as some families set up concession stands.
